"The best laid plans of mice and men..." as they say - go astray. I had planned to join a story telling session this week. But this year, the story telling event was replaced by music I learned last night.
It has been an eventful week - and a bit crazy - already but I believe a blessed week. So this is probably for my good.
Still it brings me to the point an experienced missionary from India made to me. He trains workers to tell 125 Bible stories by heart in a 3 year program so many people who cannot read will hear the gospel. (Did I tell you about the person I met just the other day who - when tested - had below a 2nd grade reading level? People who can't read are here too!)
He asked me - "What are your goals for Bible Story Telling?"
The question has stuck with me?
What are my goals for getting the message of the Living God out to people?
Doing this story telling at the Rendezvous has fallen through for now. It just means it's time to go and find another way to start telling Bible Stories.
So it's back to the drawing board.
Back to creating new goals for Bible Storytelling.
What are your goals? What are your plans?
