Thank You for Your Prayers - Bible Stories At Work

Thank you for your prayers for God to crack this nut wide open here.

It's not a "great awakening" yet but tonight was encouraging to me and some others in the church.

Tonight my church service consisted of letting someone else handle the meeting while I mediated two men in the church who had a dispute (Mt 18). I had another man sit in to get practice doing this. Everyone handled themselves well.

Then after that a woman left the meeting crying. I went out to talk to her and she said she was not ready to die and was afraid to die. (I think one of the kids had told the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus and the Holy Spirit used that to provoke this- we had 3 teens tell Bible stories as well as the person leading the study in my absence. No "study" just Bible Stories.)

My wife and I sat her down to talk after letting her cry on me a while and we were able to present the Gospel to her and encourage her to put her trust in the
all sufficient Lord Jesus Christ.

So I'm thankful that in both the Holy Spirit is at work. May the Lord expand His work here!

Thank you for your prayers. Keep praying!

Chuck
