"Davy Crockett Days" is an annual event here in Lawrenceburg, one time home of Davy Crockett. Annually there is a "Rendezvous" where people dress up as trappers, pioneers, and old-timey characters to recreate a bygone era and sell their stuff.
I learned last night that part of the event is a story telling contest.
I decided I need to go and tell a Bible Story. I think a friend can supply me with a shirt that will fit the event.
At this point I plan to tell the story of David and Bathsheba.
I ask for your prayers for this opportunity that the Word of the Living God will go forth and not return void.
It should be @ August 10th.
